Is xuxa still popular? I remember in the 90s she was a huge idol. Just wondering.

She still has a morning show,but she's not as popular as she was,people here got tired of her.
Nodody wants to watch an unstable grown woman trying to look like a child.
Actually she's only famous because of Pele,you know, the soccer player.

well. a bit more than that. she was a big part of some of the carnival (not sure if i spelled that right) floats and parades. and her "kids show" was more than that. big ass budget too.

Honestly I had no idea you knew her.
Xuxa was a model who appeared on Playboy magazine a lot.Then she met Pelé,the footballer,they had an affair for many years
and one beautiful day he got her a job in our biggest tv channel to host a morning children's program.This was in the 80's and she
became huge,even I liked her show.To be honest I still have 3 of her vinils.
Anyway,Xuxa also dated Ayrton Senna (mine and many brazlians idol),the formula 1 pilot.
Now she has a new morning show,just for kids and she's still popular,but most of us think she should retire.Everybodi is tired of seeing her jumping around,wearing stupid clothes.
They portrays herself as a very innocent,pure woman,which is ridiculous as she made some porno movies back in the 80's....
